Day 1: From the traditional style Bosnian Mosque in the village of Umoljani, the group will trek to Seven Mills, used for centuries to grind wheat into flour. The trekkers will walk along the ridge until Rakitnica Canyon opens up; and after ten minutes of going uphill, will reach the Cascades of Studeni Potok. Here, at certain times of the year, the stream falls 400 metres into the canyon below. Following the stream uphill, the group will arrive at the serpent like formations of Studeni Stream. From the Studeni Fields, participants will hike along Obalj's side to the 40 metre Peruce Waterfall, and will be treated to beautiful views and cool breezes coming from the Visočica and Treskavica. After a break at Peruće, the group begins the gentle ascent of 200 metres to Gornji (upper) Lukomir. Lukomir is Bosnia's highest village at 1,469 metres, where villagers have retained the "old way" of doing things. This village has ancient stecci (medieval tombstones).
Day 2: In the early morning hours the group will depart Lukomir and make their way towards the interior of Bjelasnica. Along the way the occasional shepherd may be encountered, with his sheep grazing on the steep slopes of Bjelašnica. After an hour and a half, participants will begin the gradual climb to Greda, a beautiful pass in between Krvavac (Bjelašnica's second highest peak at 2,062 m) and Debela Brda (1,987 m). Here participants are treated to magnificent views of Bjelašnica's highest peaks: Treskavica, Visočica, Zelengora, and Jahorina. The group will find their way down to Visin source, a true life saver in the warm summer months. Once the source is left behind, the group will begin an ascent to the beautiful summer village of Stanari and Green Visions' mountain hut. After a break, the group will turn back towards Sarajevo.
