Caring for destination
Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
The focus is on promoting sustainable, eco-friendly tourism that brings benefit to the local community, while at the same time promoting awareness and enjoyment of the spectacular natural beauty of the place.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
We follow a strict ‘leave no trace' policy on all of our walking trips. When possible, we engage local communities in preparing traditional meals for participants, and use organic products whenever available. Our entire walking program is created with concern for the Earth.
The meeting places are at Sebilj water fountain (pigeon square) and the Sutjeska Bus station opposite the American Embassy.
The tour price is based on a minimum of four participants. Individual guests can join an existing group. Definite departure will be confirmed to participants by email. Participants interested in a private trip may contact Green Visions at sarajevo@greenvisions.ba, and a quote will be provided.
